On Oct. 4th Arapahoe School students traveled to Jackson to take part in the ribbon cutting ceremony for a new mural to be installed in Garaman Park. School Board member Pat Moss also attended the ribbon cutting ceremony! Not only was this special because Arapahoe School Students painted the mural, but they also included his father, Pius Moss, in the painting!

During summer school, students spent their efforts working on the painting. Once the 80ft mural was up, students were able to observe what they created.
HoHou to everyone involved, and HoHou for representing the "Hinono’eino’ (Arapaho) lifeway", in a significant way.

ACHS student of the month is Julianna Monroe! Julianna is the daughter of Levi and Miranda Monroe, and a sophomore at Arapaho Charter High School. She is a 3.5+ Honor Roll student, and excels in the classroom in all subject areas. Julianna is active in the school’s chapter of Bring Change to Mind, and always a willing and enthusiastic participant when it comes to school functions and activities. Most recently she helped spearhead the Junior Class 50/50 raffle fundraising effort by achieving the highest number of tickets sold. She always has a ready smile, and is very kind and respectful to all those around her. Teachers describe her as engaged, diligent, humble and helpful. In her spare time Julianna enjoys volleyball and helping her family members, and she plans to attend Job Corps upon graduating from high school. Well deserved, Julianna!
What a great week it has been to be a Falcon! We have so many student athletes that deserve shout outs! Tonight, we congratulate our 8th grader Kaiden Moss as conference champ!

Ali, Jade, Kailyn, and Ariah also received medals. We are proud of all Arapahoe Falcons who completed in XC this year!!

She has donated $200 back to be given to another winner. We will go live today at 3:30 to draw for the $200. Thank you Kay! A big shout out to Julianna who was our top student seller. She sold an incredible 463 tickets! Thanks again everyone for supporting ACHS Prom!
