Students and Staff participated in a Lock Down Drill this morning. School Resource Officer Lee and Wind River Police Officer's were present to monitor and evaluate the procedures. Arapahoe School conducts monthly Emergency Drills to enhance safety with all students and staff here on campus.


ACHS student of the week is Libby Moreno! Libby is a Junior and is being honored for her excellence in academics and social presence at ACHS. Teachers describe her as punctual, attentive, polite, and hard working. Libby has overcome some academic challenges to become a stellar student and is considering college as an option after high school. Libby is the daughter of Loni Warren. Libby loves music and working. She is a positive influence on everyone around her. We can thing of no one more deserving of this award! Way to go Libby!


A reminder that the 8th Grade Parent meeting is tomorrow!


8B showed the most support during Suicide Prevention Awareness week! They were rewarded with a Carmel Apple Bar! Way to show your Falcon Pride 8B!!!

2 of our ACHS students have been able to join volleyball with a neighboring school. This weekend, they traveled to Big Piney/Kemmerer. We are proud of these girls for going outside their comfort zone and seizing the opportunities that are available.
Special thanks to St. Stephen's for allowing us to combo again, Coach Redman, for welcoming our students and Tom Bushyhead for traveling with them.

Great meet yesterday, at Wind River's first ever home meet! The team continues to work hard, overcome challenges, and make improvements!! Way to make us proud, Falcons!!!

ACHS students today participated in horseback riding today in honor of Suicide Prevention Week. Shout out to Elk Sage and crew for allowing our students to spend some healing time with your horses!





ACHS 50/50 Tickets


Through a grant from the generous contributors to Donors Choose, Mr. Walter's ACHS students will increase their learning of history through technology by creating artifacts with a new 3-D printer. This will allow students to actually create physical representations of ancient historical artifacts!


ACHS Student of the Week is Nijah Behan! Nijah is a 10th grader, he is the son of Matthew Behan and Laterra Duran. Nijah participates on the ACHS Golf Team, holds a part-time job at Mr. Ds in Lander where he works evenings and weekends. Nyjah is activlye engaged in all aspects of his education, and he participates in all activities with energy and enthusiasm. He loves adventuring outdoors. He received a Student of the Month acknowledgement from the district at the end of the 2022-2023 school year. When Nijah graduates he plans to pursue a career in music production, tatooing, or clothing design. Congratulations Nijah!!!
