A big thank you to all the parents, teachers, and volunteers who helped make this day so special.🌟

🎉 An Eventful Week at Arapahoe School! 🏫
It’s been a week full of celebrations and milestones at Arapahoe School! We kicked off with Orange Shirt Day to honor and raise awareness of Indigenous culture and history, and we celebrated together at our Community Powwow—a powerful and memorable event for all.
🏈 We also made history by hosting our first and last football game on the new field! While work on the field continues, we’re beyond excited for what’s to come and proud of the progress we’ve made.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of these meaningful events! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to celebrate our school and community.

ACHS student of the week is Cimmiron Hanway, who was nominated by Jordan Walter.
The daughter of Roberto and Shanna Hanway and a 9th grade student at ACHS, Cimmiron – or Cimmi as she is affectionately known – is off to a fantastic start in her high school career. She sports straight-As in her classes as we near the end of the first quarter and is active in all aspects of student life. Jordan Walter, her nominating teacher, says “Cimmi shows dedication to her academic career, always shows a positive attitude, and consistently shows up to school. She is a role model to her peers and exemplifies the kinds of students we love to have here at Arapaho Charter High!” Her kind and spunky personality is an endearing trait that teachers and peers alike admire and appreciate.
In addition to her stellar academic performance at ACHS, Cimmi is a member of the inaugural Boo’eiseinoo Volleyball team and a Freshman Student Council Representative. She has been recognized for excellent attendance, and been a district Student of the Month in the past. When not in school she enjoys drawing, skateboarding, and riding horses with her mother. After graduating from high school, Cimmi has ambitions to become a neuropsychologist or perhaps even a neurosurgeon. ACHS is proud of you, Cimmi!
Roberto Hanway and Shanna Hanway are the proud parents of Cimmiron.
