ACHS Homecoming Royalty- King Averille Rhodes, Queen Heaven-Leigh Johnson, and Attendants Nyjah Behan and Julianna Monroe! Congratulations!

Kenya Rhodes was nominated as the Arapaho Charter High School student of the week by Nicole Biltoft.
Kenya Rhodes is the Arapaho Charter High School Student of the Week!
Kenya is a senior at ACHS, and the daughter of Matt Rhodes and Andrea Blackburn. She has been nothing short of outstanding in all aspects of student life, and a leader in multiple ways throughout her time here. “Kenya is a force to be reckoned with. She is a great athlete, outstanding student, gets involved in cultural celebrations, and is the Student Body President for the ACHS Warrior Council” says Nicole Biltoft. “She is kind to her classmates, makes sure everyone is included, and helps out wherever she can. She is a great role model for others and a great asset to ACHS.” All with straight-As to boot!
At ACHS Kenya is a leader on the school’s first-ever volleyball team, an accomplished basketball player, and was our first track and field state qualifier ever last spring. She’s looking forward to continuing that success this year. She is a part of the ACHS Bring Change to Mind club, participates in Upward Bound, and mentors younger students. She is eager and willing to step in and help whenever needed.
Outside of school Kenya enjoys making new friends, spending time with family, and beading. She sells her beadwork as an entrepreneurial venture as well. After she graduates in May she is planning either to attend Ft. Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, or to join the Marine Corps. ACHS is very proud of this young lady and the amazing all-around student she is. Keep it up, Ke

Congrats to the Arapahoe Youth girls for placing second in their tournament! We are proud of you all. Great job, Falcons! #FalconPride #GoFalcons

📅 Monday, October 14th—Save the date and get ready for a day of celebration and community! 1:30PM-3:00PM
If you have any questions, please reach out to us. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Yesterday, the Falcon XC Team competed in our WRCAA Conference Meet. These young athletes have worked hard all year battling the smoky conditions, heat, long runs, and other elements. The pure grit and determination paid off throughout the season and Conference was no different.
Youth Boys have the Conference Championship as well as the overall champion, Santiago Acebo. Boys placed 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 8th place and all had PR's. Youth girls placed second with a 4th, 6th, and 11th place finish, all with PR's again. Our Jr. High team didn't have enough runners to score as a team but came home with 3 medals out of 4 runners! It was a great season with awesome runners and support from parents, teachers, and the community! We are all so proud of all the Falcon runners! Nii'iton Heeyei Ceeciiskoohuutooni'
