October Hinono'eitiit Words/Phrase Of The Week:

🌟 Student Success: Exploring Independence and Opportunities! 🌟
Our students recently had the amazing opportunity to connect with community organizations to learn about transitions to independent living, assistive technology, and support systems available in the community.
They also had the chance to engage with Casper College, discovering programs offered and touring the campus! 🏫✨
🎮 Through a VR simulator, students explored different trades, gaining hands-on insights into various careers. They also attended mini-sessions focused on dressing for success, self-discovery, and more! 🌱
As part of the event, they created beautiful felt flowers for both themselves and our community garden, and they designed vision boards to help shape their futures. 🌸✨
We're so proud of our students for embracing these experiences and taking steps towards their bright futures! 🌟 #StudentSuccess #CasperCollege #IndependentLiving #CareerReady #CommunitySupport #FutureLeaders

ACHS Bulletin

Heaven-Leigh is a senior at Arapaho Charter High School, and our Student of the Week this week!
In just a few short weeks, Heaven-Leigh has emerged as a top-shelf student at ACHS, sporting excellent grades and attendance through the first month and half. She has shown unwavering commitment to her studies and admirable dedication through her attendance at school. As a senior student she drives herself to school each day, and is very conscientious about her punctuality. “Heaven-Leigh has shown exemplary responsibility in getting to school each day despite some true challenges. Her grades are excellent, and she always has a great smile on her face. Her commitment to finishing her education is great example to all of our students,” says Katie Law, ACHS Principal.
At ACHS Heaven-Leigh is active with the district’s Food Distribution Program, and she has played high school basketball in the past. Outside of school she loves spending time with her baby, playing outside with her brother, and gaming in Roblox with her younger sister. After graduation in May she plans to attend college out of state – but not too far from home – and one day possibly become a Kindergarten teacher. Congratulations, Heaven-Leigh, on this well-deserved honor!
