Coach Katie Law laced up her shoes and hit the track for the Shane Brock Memorial Community Run—running a mile with heart, hustle, and Warrior pride! We’re proud of Coach Law and everyone who showed up to honor Shane’s memory and support our community. Moments like these remind us what it means to come together as Warriors—stronger as one.

Our Saturday Senior Shoutout goes to Alissah C'Hair! When Alissah was younger she wanted to be a Princess. The one song that keeps getting stuck in her head is "Made in Japan" by Buck Owen. Alissah considers herself a Night Owl. Her favorite movie is Dream Keeper, and her favorite class in school is Literature in Film. Congratulations Alissah, we are so proud of you!

Our 2nd graders had a fun and educational adventure today at Sprouts Farmers Market! They explored fresh produce, learned where food comes from, and even got a behind-the-scenes look at how a grocery store runs. 🥦🍎 A big THANK YOU to Sprouts for welcoming us and to our wonderful staff and parent chaperones who made this trip possible! 💚

The last day of our ACHS field trip was a WINNER! Students enjoyed a double-header Colorado Rockies game and finally got to check Casa Bonita off their bucket list after weeks of anticipation! The entire trip was an absolute BLAST, and today we’re heading home with full hearts (and full stomachs). Mr. P and Mrs. P want to give a huge THANK YOU to all the kids— You made this trip so fun and easy. Truly the BEST group to travel with!

Today's Senior Shoutout goes to Shawna Gardner! Shawna says the three things people should focus on to have a happy life are to mind their own business, be kind to everyone even when they may not be kind to you, and to just be yourself. Her favorite movie is Coraline, it gives her comfort. Shawna's worst habit is staying up late and then not getting up. Her favorite class is math, she excels in it because she finds it fun! The three things Shawna is most grateful are is her family, life, and continuing her education after she graduates High School.

Starting Friday!!! Bring in your spare change and bills and donate to drench an administrator with Gatorade! The drenching will take place on the Elementary Field Day on May 28th! All proceeds go to helping three ACHS girls and two chaperones go to Spain this summer for a Beyond Basketball Tour!

Our next Senior Shout Out goes to Israel Lopez! If Israel could have any super power he would like to Read Minds, so that he could know what peole are thinking and then he could become a Master Mind! He would love to be able to fly, he enjoys playing video games in his spare time, his favorite game is Sonic Origins. He also loves to watch movies, and his favorite subject in school is Science. Israel is an Early Bird, and when asked if he could go anywhere in the word he chose Hawaii. He said Hawaii is where he could get peace and quiet, sip on a cold lemonade, and there would be NO SNOW! Israel we are all going to miss your hugs, and enormous smile! Congratulations on graduating from ACHS!

Arapahoe High School students made a big splash this week! After spending the entire school year raising baby rainbow trout from eggs to fingerlings, our students had the incredible opportunity to release them into Washakie Reservoir yesterday. Through this hands-on experience, they learned about the science behind fish populations and helped stock our local waters — making a real impact on our environment and community. This project was made possible through a partnership with Tribal Game and Fish and Trout in the Classroom — and we’re excited to share that it will be a recurring program for our high school students! Great job, Warriors!

What a Day! Yesterday’s ACHS field trip was packed with excitement and unforgettable experiences! Our students explored the incredible exhibits at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, enjoyed a delicious dinner at Maggiano’s on the 16th Street Mall, and capped off the night with a jaw-dropping performance of Little Shop of Horrors at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts—the kids were absolutely blown away! Now we’re off to make the most of our final day with even more adventures ahead. Stay tuned!

JOM/IEC Parent Meeting!

Some of our ACHS students are enjoying an exciting incentive trip to Denver this week! Each day brings a new adventure, and yesterday’s fun included a visit to the Museum of Illusions and an action-packed 4DX movie at the 16th Street Mall. While the Colorado Rockies game was rained out, the silver lining is even better—we’ll now get to enjoy a doubleheader on Thursday!

Our next Senior Shoutout goes to HeavenLeigh Johnson! When Heaven was young she wanted to teacher, if she could travel to any time it would be the future. If she had a super power she would choose to be invisible, and if she could be any animal it would be a turtle. The celebrity she would bring to ACHS it would be Ruby da Cherry. Lastly if Heaven could travel anywhere in the world it would be to Paris. Congratulations Heaven! We can't wait to see what the future holds for you!

8th Grade Parent Meeting – Tomorrow at 5:30 PM We will be holding an important meeting for 8th grade parents tomorrow at 5:30 PM in the Cultural Center. We’ll be discussing the trip itinerary, so we hope to see you there!

And we got 4th in the relay race! Huge congrats to our relay team for a great performance and a strong finish. Your effort, speed, and teamwork made us proud!

Way to go, Jessica! She brought home 1st place in the 100-meter walk—what an awesome accomplishment! We’re so proud of your hard work and determination. Keep shining!

ACHS would like to give our first Senior Shoutout to Jayla Moss! When Jayla was younger she wanted to be "Real" like her Aunt Cass. If she could bring one celebrity to school it would be Gong Yoo, who also happens to be her celebrity crush. Her favorite thing about school is English, and if she could relive any day it would be August 21st, 2020. Congratulations Jayla! Way to work hard! We all look forward to seeing you graduation on May 17th!
